  • Focus and act on your purpose.

If you’re not sure what you’re purpose in life is, then take time to figure it out. Some people find their purpose through parenthood, some through their careers and others through service to mankind. We all have our very own purpose. You just have to know what it is. Knowing what you are born to do and doing it will significantly increase your self confidence.

  • Exercise daily.

No, this tip is not out-of-place. Believe it or not, exercise plays a significant role in your self confidence. People who exercise on a daily basis have a more positive disposition and self esteem compared to those who don’t.

Studies even show that spending 30 minutes every morning of walking on the treadmill can greatly affect a person’s physical and mental well-being. Exercising can give you a sense of accomplishment and can also stimulate the release of “feel good” hormones called endorphins.

  • Give importance to how you look.

How you feel inside is affected by how you appear outside. People who look good tend to feel more confident. By looking your best all the time, you will not have any hesitation facing just about anyone and doing just about anything. But don’t get me wrong, confidence is not all about the looks. Work on what is inside you as much as you work on what is outside.

  • Do something nice for someone else without being asked.

This will not only improve your self confidence but will also make others feel special. Have you ever tried returning someone else’s cart at the grocery store or let someone get in front of you in line? If you haven’t, you should try is sometime, it sure feels good. Believe it or not, even things as simple as these can increase your self-esteem.
